The problem

Life insurance agents collected customer details for new policies on printed data sheets: personal details, family, bank, plan and nominee. Sheets got lost or damaged, details were retyped more than once, and no agent had a quick way to see their own pipeline.

What we built

A portal that keeps the familiar sheet but puts it in the cloud.

  • A digital intake form that matches the paper sheet field for field, so agents needed no training.
  • A personal dashboard for each agent with totals, search and date filters across every customer they’ve added.
  • An admin console to approve access requests, invite agents and disable accounts.
  • Email and Google sign-in. Agents only ever see their own customers, and the server checks this on every request.
  • Automatic deploys from GitHub, uptime monitoring and a custom address.

Security without the overhead

Passwords never reach the app: sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. Only the server talks to the database, through a dedicated service account that can do nothing else. There are no long-lived key files at all. Deploys sign in to Google Cloud with short-lived credentials.

Step one of automation

Automation starts with getting data off paper and into one trusted place. With that done, the next step is easy to picture. An agent photographs a filled data sheet, AI reads every field, anything unclear is flagged for the agent to confirm with one tap, and the record is saved. No retyping.
